Please join us for a gala fundraising concert featuring world-renowned Bishop and pianist, The Rt. Rev. Michael Marshall of London, England. This concert will feature a wide repertoire of music interspersed with reflections and commentary from Bishop Marshall. Ticket prices: $20 general admission; $50 prime seating; $100 prime seating and reception with Bishop Marshall. Proceeds will benefit CHR as well as “The Awareness Foundation,” Bishop Marshall’s program of world-wide ministry and outreach. |

HALLOWEEN ORGAN SPOOKTACULAR

Mollie Nichols (Dir. of Music and Organist) and Bill Trafka (Dir. of Music and Organist of St. Bartholomew's) will join in a program of scary organ music for Halloween. Mollie and Bill will play duet transcriptions of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries and Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre. Mollie and Bill will also play spooky works of Buxtehude, Messiaen, Franck and others. The Heavenly Rest Stop, Heavenly Rest's new and popular café on Fifth Avenue, will be open throughout the evening for reasonably prices drinks and snacks.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
Over 100 costumed children present our annual Christmas Pageant as the Christmas Story is reenacted through scripture and familiar carols. Georgio the donkey leads the procession and is joined by other live animals. Come early to get a seat for the 3:30 and 5:00 pm performances on Christmas Eve.
Immediately following the pageants, a service of Holy Communion will be offered in the Chapel.

The Nativity of Our Lord is celebrated on Christmas Eve, beginning at 10:30 pm with a choral prelude of glorious music for Christmas. At 11:00 pm, the Festal Choral Eucharist heralds the birth of the Christ Child with traditional carols and lessons in the candlelit church.
