May 4, 2018. The First (now annual) Heavenly Lights All- Parish Community Art Show
When we thought about who was included in our “ Parish Community,” we realized it is made up of not only parishioners, but also our clergy and staff, our neighbors, and our Harlem and Prison and Re-entry partners. Despite our differences and varied back-grounds we engage with each other and come together as one body through art. “Heavenly Lights” refers to the God-given talents of the those whose works were on display. In all, we had 70 submissions. The overwhelming response to this exhibition was one of surprise, and that there was so much artistic talent in the CHR community. The exhibition was so successful, we will open it up to the entire community next year.
