On Ash Wednesday, Christians are marked with a cross of ash on our foreheads as a reminder of our mortality and a sign of repentance as we begin the holy season of Lent.

Heavenly Rest offers ashes to all who wish to participate in this sacred ritual, on the sidewalk in front of the church or inside during the day.
