Grassroots Grocery: Community Meal & Cooking for our Neighbors
On the last Wednesday of every month at 5:45 pm, we invite teens and adults to prepare, cook, and package meals to donate to Grassroots Grocery’s community fridge on 92nd and 1st Avenue. We also share a community meal! Please register here. We meet at 5:45 pm in the chapel for our Sung Evening Prayer and start cooking in Darlington Hall around 6:00 pm.

Wednesdays for Everyone
Beginning at 3:45 pm we offer Music, Movement, Arts and Worship for children 3 yrs old through 6th grade. Young children learn music basics through joyful singing, movement, and games, led by teaching artists. The Choristers sing music from the Anglican Choral tradition and a diversity of styles for the 11:00 am Sunday Eucharist at Heavenly Rest, on the First Sunday of each month. All of our activities are open to the neighborhood and community, and we would love for your family to join us! Email for more information.

Sunday Volunteers
Sunday morning ministries are a great way to get involved at CHR! We would love to have your help on Sunday morning (usually one Sunday a month) and we’ll make sure you’re trained and feel comfortable in serving. Let us know if you feel a tug toward any of them!
- Acolytes - kids in 3rd grade and up...carry something beautiful and lead us in worship!
- Ushers - anyone with a desire to make sure everyone receives a warm welcome!
- Altar Guild - help prepare the altar for the Eucharist (and clean up)!
- Lay Readers and Intercessors - share your voice!
- Chalice-Bearers - help offer the Sacrament of Christ's body!
